Lewis and Clark as the Corpse of Discovery are certainly heroes I can depend on for exciting adventure. They are better than the real thing. They keep moving forward, no matter what, even if it’s in the wrong direction. They overcome insurmountable odds, physically, technologically, chemically and mentally. They are continuously under attack from inside and out, and from beginning to end. They struggle just to stay alive. They are lost and then they are found. And in the end, they miraculously beat the odds and accomplished their goal.
