There was a huge difference between mom and dad in what we could get away with. You'll always see longer hair at mom's. I was always assured an immediate hair cut every time I went to dad's. Before throwing out these paper clothes patterns, I stuffed them in my shirt......

Shortly after moving to Vancouver, from Seattle, my grandfather enrolled me into the Son's of the American Legion bowling team. Each Saturday I went with him to a local bowling alley to bowl with other kids. The bowling was always fun, for about the first 5 minutes......

There was an unexpected victory over all of the other kids. The winners car (Tony Knunt) was actually made by his dad, which is a disqualification in my opinion. I cheated fare and square by pumping extra graphite in the wheel axles before each race......
